In response to the earthquake, local firefighting and rescue teams from both Kashgar Prefecture and Aksu Prefecture promptly dispatched emergency response teams to the affected areas.
A total of 22 mobile units were deployed, consisting of search and rescue vehicles, heavy machinery, and medical personnel. Fortunately, no casualties or major damages have been reported so far.
