China's Spring Festival Travel Rush: Record Passenger Numbers and Safety Measures Amid Severe Weather

This year's Spring Festival falls on January 25th, and the Spring Festival travel rush began on January 10th, lasting for 40 days. As of January 24th, the number of railway passengers during Chunyun had reached 239 million, up 10.7% from the same period last year. Meanwhile, highways have also seen a significant increase in traffic, with over 80 million vehicles recorded as of January 27th.
