Song Zu'er's Studio Denies Cheating Allegations Amid Heated Debate Over Academic Integrity
Song Zu'er's studio has issued a second statement denying any wrongdoing in response to the recent accusations of cheating on the gaokao, China's national college entrance exam. According to the statement, Song Zu'er had attended high school abroad before returning to China, where she registered for both the art and general gaokao exams as a social candidate in 2018. The studio maintained that her gaokao scores were genuine and that there was no evidence of her using fake certificates to cheat.

The studio claimed that after being reported by a malicious individual, the education department had investigated the matter for several months and found no issues with Song Zu'er's application and test-taking process. The results had been formally confirmed by the relevant authorities, the statement said.
The studio deemed the accusations as "rumors and slander" and stated that it had preserved evidence to take legal action against the accuser, known as "Xiaoyan Xiaoxi" on social media. Xiaoyan Xiaoxi had previously accused Song Zu'er of tax evasion, which the actress had also denied.
This is not the first time that Song Zu'er has faced scrutiny over her academic credentials. In 2017, her mother was alleged to have asked for help from a high-ranking education official in Hebei Province to obtain fake certificates for Song Zu'er's gaokao application. However, Song Zu'er's studio has consistently maintained that she had done nothing wrong and had earned her gaokao scores through her own efforts.
The controversy has sparked a heated debate on social media, with fans and detractors alike weighing in on the issue. While some have defended Song Zu'er, accusing Xiaoyan Xiaoxi of being a malicious accuser, others have expressed outrage and disappointment at the alleged cheating scandal.
The public reaction to the allegations of academic dishonesty against Song Zu'er has been intense. Many netizens have taken to social media to express their outrage and disappointment, with some calling for a thorough investigation into the matter. Others have come to Song's defense, arguing that she has already been cleared by the relevant authorities and that the allegations are baseless.

On Weibo, a popular Chinese microblogging platform, the hashtags #宋祖儿工作室回应高考争议# (Song Zu'er Studio Responds to High School Entrance Exam Controversy) and #宋祖儿高考作弊# (Song Zu'er High School Entrance Exam Cheating) have been trending, with many users sharing their opinions on the matter.
Some netizens have questioned the timing of the allegations, suggesting that they may be motivated by malice or a desire for attention. Others have pointed out that Song's studio has already provided evidence to refute the allegations, including a statement from the education department confirming that she had followed the proper procedures in taking the high school entrance exam.
Despite the studio's denials, the incident has sparked a heated debate about academic integrity and the privileged treatment of celebrities in China. Many have expressed concern that the allegations, if true, could undermine the fairness and credibility of the high school entrance exam system.

The recent controversy surrounding Song Zu'er's alleged high school diploma scandal has also raised questions about the motivations and credibility of the whistleblower, a Weibo user named "小宴小西" (Xiao Yan Xi Xi). An analysis of the whistleblower's behavior suggests that their actions may be driven by ulterior motives rather than a genuine desire to expose wrongdoing.
The whistleblower's account was created in August 2024, and their first post was the explosive allegation against Song Zu'er. This raises suspicions about the account's authenticity and whether it was created specifically to spread malicious rumors.
The whistleblower's claim that Song Zu'er used fake documents to obtain her high school diploma has been vehemently denied by Song's team, which has produced evidence to refute the allegations. This has led to accusations that the whistleblower is engaging in slander and defamation.

The whistleblower's actions have been linked to a rival entertainment company, which has fueled speculation about a possible smear campaign against Song Zu'er. The company, Shanghai Hai Tian Entertainment, has denied any involvement, but the timing and nature of the allegations have raised eyebrows.
The whistleblower's behavior has been described as "malicious" and "reckless" by Song Zu'er's team, which has threatened to take legal action against the individual. The fact that the whistleblower has not provided any concrete evidence to support their claims has further eroded their credibility.
In response to the backlash, Song's studio has vowed to take legal action against anyone who spreads malicious rumors or engages in libelous behavior. The studio has also thanked fans for their support and encouraged them to focus on Song's achievements and talents rather than the controversy surrounding her.
