Taiwanese Actor Wang Da-lu Sparks Outrage with Smug Departure from Prosecutor's Office
In a surprising turn of events, Taiwanese actor Wang Da-lu was seen smiling as he left the prosecutor's office, a stark contrast to the gravity of the situation that led him there. Wang had been embroiled in a controversy involving the alleged instigation of an attack on a taxi driver, which initially led to severe charges including "incitement to murder." However, after further investigation, the charges were adjusted to "incitement to injury," a development that sparked widespread discussion and criticism. The incident began when Wang, dissatisfied with a taxi ride, allegedly instructed his friends to teach the driver a lesson, resulting in the driver being assaulted. Despite the severity of the allegations, Wang was able to post bail of $500 million Taiwanese dollars (approximately $16.7 million USD) and was released, pending further investigation.
