In a shocking turn of events, Taiwanese media has exposed an incident where Hong Kong celebrity Chen Guanxi, also known as Edison Chen, was involved in a heated argument with flight attendants on a plane. The altercation reportedly occurred when Chen was dissatisfied with the priority disembarkation arrangement, which allowed a Japanese passenger with a high-tier membership to exit the plane first. Chen, who himself holds a diamond card membership, questioned the flight attendants, asking what made the other passenger's membership superior to his.

In a press conference held on June 17, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian announced that China will swiftly evacuate its citizens from Iran and Israel, following the escalation of military conflict between the two countries. The spokesperson emphasized that the Chinese government attaches great importance to the safety and security of its citizens abroad and has activated emergency response mechanisms to protect them. Some Chinese citizens have already been safely evacuated to neighboring countries, and the Foreign Ministry, in conjunction with relevant departments, is working tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of all Chinese citizens in Iran and Israel.

On June 12, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner passenger plane operated by Air India crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad, India, killing at least 204 people, including 5 medical students who were in their college hostel when the plane hit the building. The plane, which was headed to London with 242 people on board, including 169 Indian nationals, 53 British nationals, 1 Canadian, and 7 Portuguese, experienced technical difficulties immediately after takeoff and sent out a distress signal before disappearing from radar.
