China Issues Widespread Heavy Rain and Heat Warnings Amid Severe Weather Forecast
The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning for heavy rain and high temperatures on June 22, predicting temperatures in parts of Beijing, Tianjin, central and southern Hebei, northern Shandong, northern Henan, the Fenwei Plain, northern Xinjiang, and the southern Xinjiang Basin to reach 35-36°C. Some areas in central and southern Hebei, northern Shandong, and the eastern part of the southern Xinjiang Basin may see temperatures soar to 37-39°C, with local areas potentially exceeding 40°C.
