Countdown to Relaxation: China's 19 Working Days in May
As the calendar flips to May, Chinese workers are abuzz with excitement. After a brief respite for the Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb Sweeping Day, the country is gearing up for the highly anticipated Labor Day holiday, also known as "May Day". This year, the holiday promises to be even sweeter, with a total of five days off from May 1st to May 5th, followed by another short break for the Dragon Boat Festival at the end of the month. When combined with regular weekends, this adds up to a mere 19 working days in May, a prospect that has many office dwellers counting down the days until their next break.
