The 3.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Jiangsu's Xinghua City on February 21, as reported by the China Earthquake Networks Center, is a significant seismic event in a region not typically known for high earthquake activity. According to the official measurements, the quake occurred at 07:16 local time, with its epicenter located at 32.73 degrees north latitude and 120.16 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 9 kilometers.
