Customized Inbound Tourism Surges in China During Spring Festival
As China's Spring Festival approaches, the country is experiencing a surge in customized inbound tourism. With the expansion of visa-free policies and the convenience of entry visas, the inbound tourism market is booming. According to data from aviation and travel agencies, over 5,500 flights brought global tourists to China during the first five days of the Spring Festival, a significant increase of over 1,400 flights compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, online travel platforms have reported a whopping 203% year-on-year growth in inbound tour orders for the entire Spring Festival period. This phenomenon is largely driven by the increasing popularity of customized tours, which cater to the diverse interests and preferences of foreign tourists.
