Fire Tragedy in Nanjing's MingShang West Yard: 15 Dead, 44 Injured

On February 23, 2024, at 4:39 in the morning, a fire broke out in MingShang West Yard in the rain flower terrace district of Nanjing, China. 20 plus firetrucks were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was smothered around 6 hours later. As of the last update on the 24th, fifteen people have died and forty-four have been hospitalized with injuries. The most severe case resulted in one critical condition and one serious condition, while the remaining forty-two patients are in stable condition.
