Xi Jinping Visits Flood-Affected Villages, Offers Support and Encouragement
On February 1st, 2024, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the village of Sixth Fork in Xiqing District, Tianjin, to learn about the recovery of local agriculture following last year's severe flood. During his visit, Xi Jinping paid particular attention to the impact of the disaster and how the villagers had been able to rebuild their lives. The president also took the opportunity to speak to the villagers and their families, offering words of encouragement and advice on how they could improve their living conditions.
