
China Shifts Urban Development Focus from Quantity to Quality
The Central Urban Work Conference, a pivotal event in China's urban development calendar, convened in Beijing from July 14th to 15th, marking a decade since the last such gathering. President Xi Jinping, alongside other top leaders including Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, and Li Xi, attended the conference, underscoring its significance. Xi delivered a critical speech that charted the course for China's urbanization efforts, emphasizing a shift from rapid expansion to quality improvement and efficiency enhancement.
