Lee Qin's 'Little Red Riding Hood' Comparison

In a recent revelation, Chinese actor and singer, Lee Qin, has been compared to the iconic character, "Little Red Riding Hood," in the popular television series "Chaser." The comparison was first made by a Weibo user, who noticed the striking resemblance between Lee Qin's costume and makeup in the show and the traditional fairytale character.

Lee Qin's 'Little Red Riding Hood' Comparison

The assessment caught the attention of netizens who chimed in with their opinions on the actor's portrayal. Lee Qin, originally hailing from Shanghai, made her name in the entertainment industry with her multi-faceted talents in singing, acting, and dancing.
Despite the odd murmurs of dissent about her performance in "Chaser," many viewers have been quick to defend the young starlet. "It's clear that Lee Qin has put in a great deal of effort with her performance in this series," said a Weibo user, pointing out the significant improvement in her lines and delivery.
"Everyone speaks differently, and the camera does tend to magnify certain features. It's all part of the art." The show's mix of martial arts, mystery, and drama has kept viewers hooked, and Lee Qin's character, Shen Jinru, has been at the heart of the intrigue. Playing the role of a strong-willed woman navigating a male-dominated world, her story, much like Little Red Riding Hood's, has resonated with audiences. "I sometimes feel like there's a connection between the characters played by Lee Qin and the other Shen family members in the show," said another Weibo user. "For instance, Shen Jinru shares a similar struggle, resilience, and inner strength with Shen Hui ge and Shen Jinchuan." While the assessment of Lee Qin's character as Little Red Riding Hood seems to be a compliment on her appearance and style, the comparison does not end there. In a recent promotional video, the actress met up with co-star Lin Zhao Sheng and Zhang Tianyang at a dinner, where the Little Red Riding Hood reference made a comeback. Throughout the meal, Lin Zhao Sheng, who plays the main character in the story, warmed up to Lee Qin and confessed his admiration for her character — just like the Big Bad Wolf of the classic fairytale. Fans of Lee Qin and "Chaser" have not been shy about professing their love for the young actress's performance.
One user gushed about her beauty and charisma, calling Shen Jinru "the epitome of a strong, yet charming woman." In discussing the trajectory of Lee Qin's career, a Weibo post also touched on the concept of good fortune seemingly following those who have suffered hardship in their early years. The user pointed to an ancient Chinese belief that individuals who have endured numerous trials in their youth are destined for success and prosperity in the future.
However, this theory does not apply to the life of retired Air Force officer Liu Cai Feng, who recently spoke out about her struggle to seek justice for her son, Xu Chuang, who was wrongfully imprisoned in Henan province. As the story behind Lee Qin's resemblance to Little Red Riding Hood continues to dominate social media discussions, one thing remains clear: the actress has earned the admiration of her fans and the attention of the public. With her talent and growing fanbase, Lee Qin's star is undoubtedly on the rise.
