
Elderly Patient's Death After Extensive Dental Procedure Sparks Outrage and Debate on Medical Ethics
A recent incident in Harbin, China, has sparked widespread concern and outrage after a 77-year-old man with pre-existing medical conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes, coronary heart disease, and five heart stents, underwent a dental procedure that ultimately led to his death. The elderly patient had 12 teeth extracted and 6 dental implants placed in a single session at Harbin Younuo Dental Clinic. Shortly after leaving the clinic, he experienced discomfort, vomited blood, and subsequently passed away.
